Scope of Works
MJC Sustainability and ProjectProcure formed an alliance to bid for funding through a federal government agency to provide specialist advice and services to SMEs to improve their business performance through source finance specialist advice, know-how, and technologies. This advice was required to also provide SMEs with new skills, technologies and business strategies to remain competitive both in Australia, and globally.
Features
The project allowed the alliance to conduct a green purchasing workshops throughout Australia for small and medium sized Australian Enterprises sectors of defence, manufacturing, and mining technology.
The workshop provided participants with:
- relevant level of understanding of what current sustainability issues mean to their business;
- tangible benefits realised through implementing a green procurement strategy;
- How to develop and implement a green purchasing plan/program including the modification of the policy to suit changed circumstances.
