GREEN PROJECT MANAGEMENT TRAINING COURSES
The PRiSM™ Green Project Management Training Courses are developed by GPM® Global to enable individuals and organisations effectively address the key areas of sustainability as integrated into the traditional core project phases, and to integrate project processes with sustainability initiatives to achieve business objectives while decreasing negative environmental impact.
‘Green Project Management®’ is the methodology developed by GPM® Global, integrating sustainability with project management; enhancing the already established project management framework defined by the five major process groups and ten primary subject areas. Green Project Management® leverages the wisdom and standards set forth in the established “Books of Knowledge” utilized by project managers throughout the world and integrates an applicable framework of sustainability derived from several international standards, presenting the PRiSM™ Methodology.
PRiSM™ Training Courses are developed to the standards set forth in the International Competence Baseline v3.0 of the International Project Management Association and are administered by training providers to ensure quality and consistency throughout GPM’s global network and operate independent of GPM® Global, thus ensuring a clear separation of the instructional and accrediting bodies. PRiSM™ Training Courses focus on demonstrating competence and on concepts mastered, and prepare participants for the GPM certification exam. Participants are challenged in a case study driven environment to apply new techniques to real-life situations and foster collaborative learning.
Green Project Manager (GPM-b) certification is the first project management credential for individuals demonstrating knowledge in delivering projects using sustainable methods. This certification is awarded to project managers who have successfully met the criteria for knowledge in project management and sustainability.
PRISM training and the GPM-b certification are now offered in over 140 countries.
PRiSM™ Training Courses are available only through Accredited GPM® Training Providers and is not offered direct.
