MJC Sustainability provided assistance to a local rubber recycling and manufacturing client. The client had a strong desire to achieve GreenTag certification, but limited resources to respond to the broad certification requirements.
MJC undertook a comprehensive social and environmental sustainability audit of the business and the product to ensure it met the certification requirements related to GreenTag (offered by ecoSpecifier). A strong understanding of life cycle analysis, SA8000 and international labour standards was required for this process.
Client benefits: MJC Sustainability's environmental and social sustainability audit and advice enabled the client to increase their understanding and sustainability performance metrics. The client has since achieved GreenTag certification, with direct benefit to their sales revenue.
