MJC Sustainability has provided project tangible business process improvements for a Queensland coal mining Land & Tenures Team.

The Land and Tenures Team undertakes activities that aim to mitigate material risks associated with the successful development and ongoing management of mineral tenements and rental properties.

MJC Sustainability was engaged to map the business critical activities, as well as schedule the key processes undertaken by the Land and Tenures Team. These activities have a number of interfaces with the Exploration, Mine Planning and Environment teams.

MJC Sustainability was also engaged to further develop these processes and interfaces into a seamless compliance system that achieves the desired outcomes on time, without negatively impacting on the day-to-day activities of each team.

MJC Sustainability diagnosed the problem and defined a remedy by conducting a Phase 1: Scoping Study to clearly define the complete scope of works to map, develop and implement this integrated compliance system.

The “game changer” in this Project was the ongoing participation and key milestone reviews by team members.

Within a short timeframe and limited budget, responsible for the management of time-critical records, MJC Sustainability worked with the team to deliver on all of their objectives.
